A quiet image.
A reason to return.
A shared memory.
From private attention
to a shared repertoire.
The proposal brings ten-second field recordings into a street-facing window. Two simple choices, AGAIN and KEEP, invite a passer-by to revisit a clip or let it return later for someone else.
Seasonal recordings and moderated local contributions would renew the collection over time. Anonymous interaction counts would describe how the work is used, without photographing or identifying people in the street.
The project develops the concerns of Ten Seconds / Nothing Happens into a public setting: a small observation becomes a digital memory through the act of choosing to keep it.
